Dr Sam Bunting
Dr Sam Bunting is a London-based cosmetic dermatologist specialising, quite simply, in great skin – she’s widely considered to be a beauty insider’s best-kept secret.
"Best dermatologist in London" Victoria Hall, Harpers Bazaar
She’s passionate about making a dermatologist’s advice more accessible and helping women understand that a visit to her office is not just for serious skin conditions. Through her media and TV work, as a presenter on TLC’s Extreme Beauty Disasters, Dr Sam helps bridge the gap between traditional dermatology and beauty. She is sought-out for her expert opinion in countless fashion and beauty publications.
“I want to offer patients not only the opportunity for correction of skin issues...but also the psychological benefits of beautification. For instance, it’s not enough to deal with acne by suppressing the disease alone. You need to be able to improve skin tone, uneven texture and smooth out scarring in order to make that person look and feel their best; to heal the emotional scars along with the physical ones. Treating the skin from the inside out is what I do best. “
Dr Emma Wedgeworth
Dr Emma Wedgeworth is a prize-winning dermatologist with a passion for healthy skin.
Dr Sam says “In Dr Emma, I’ve found someone I’m delighted to work alongside – she brings the highest level of dermatological know-how to her practice but manages to combine it with compassion, warmth and humour. She’s someone I’d go and see myself!”
She got a coveted 1st class degree at Cambridge University, and went on to collect numerous prizes at Imperial College School of Medicine. Her interest in skin was ignited during these years of rigorous medical training and she went on to specialise in clinical dermatology at the world-renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology, London, where she still works as a consultant.
Over the years, Dr Emma has realised that gorgeous skin is achieved by harnessing the benefits of medical treatments alongside holistic lifestyle choices. She has extensive experience with all skin conditions, but has a particular interest in conditions such as acne, eczema and rosacea, as well as sun-damage.
Her skin care programmes are tailored to the individual, with intelligent skin care choices complimenting medical treatments.
